Company to build 1,900 acre community along booming I-35 corridor

The populations of suburban cities between San Antonio and Austin are booming, and developers are rushing into the I-35 corridor to build housing. SouthStar Communities’ planned development — which would include housing, parks, schools and space for businesses on over 1,800 acres just outside New Braunfels — is one of the most ambitious projects in the region to date.
